AICCI Warranty terms

1. Consumer warranty

The warranty begins on the date of purchase or the date of delivery, whichever occurs later. Please keep the receipt or delivery certificate as proof of purchase.

This warranty is a voluntary, additional warranty and does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights or the consumer’s rights against the retailer arising from the sales contract.

The product warranty applies only in countries where AICCI Ltd sells its products.

2. Warranty for business customers

The warranty becomes effective on the date of delivery, in accordance with AICCI’s General Terms and Conditions for Business Customers.

The product warranty is valid upon presentation of the delivery note issued by the seller, indicating the delivery date.

3. What’s covered

AICCI provides a 5‑year limited manufacturer’s warranty for the following products manufactured by AICCI:

  • AICCI Collection products
  • Customer‑specific and project‑specific lighting fixtures and lighting‑related products

For products purchased before August 2022, the limited manufacturer’s warranty is 3 years.
Other products sold by AICCI are covered by a minimum 2‑year warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material defects, provided the product has been installed, used, and maintained:

  • According to the installation and user instructions
  • Strictly for the intended purpose and specified applications
  • Within the defined operating environment (e.g., dry indoor use)
  • Within the specified operating voltage, current, and frequency ranges
  • In compliance with all maintenance and cleaning instructions

AICCI will remedy covered defects at its discretion by repairing the product, replacing it, or reimbursing the purchase price.

4. What's not covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Any indirect or consequential damages
  • Costs related to identifying, removing, reinstalling, repairing, or replacing the product, including travel and labour costs
  • Loss of luminous output due to normal wear and tear: The luminous intensity must not decrease by more than 30% during the warranty period
  • Products purchased second‑hand
  • Normal maintenance, service, and routine repairs

5. If you discover a defect

If you discover a fault or defect in a product covered by the warranty, please contact us immediately at:

Please include:

  • A clear and detailed description of the defect
  • Photos illustrating the issue
  • The receipt or delivery document as proof of purchase
  • The product’s serial number, found on the product’s rating plate

The warranty is valid only when the date of purchase/delivery can be verified and the product serial number has been provided.

6. Guarantee procedure

To resolve a warranty-covered defect, the dealer or Customer must send the defective product to the AICCI factory in Muurame or to another location designated by AICCI.

All return shipments require prior authorization from AICCI.

Upon arrival, AICCI will inspect the product without delay. AICCI will cover the costs of:

  • The return shipment, and
  • The shipment of the repaired or replacement product
